Our vision is to offer the science of inner wellbeing to every human being – a science that helps a person realize the ultimate potential within.

Soumyam, founded in 2017, is one of the very few yoga schools in Australia to teach Hatha Yoga in its original form. Trained in an intensive 21-week full-time program at the Isha Yoga Center in India, we are uniquely qualified to offer authentic and powerful yogic practices of different intensity, which bring enhanced energy, mental clarity, and inner balance to the human system. Each year we travel to the yoga center to further our teaching.

Why YogaSaara?

1750+ Hours Of Teacher Training

All the teachers at Soumyam have undertaken over 1750 hours of residential ISHA Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in Coimbatore, developed globally-renowned yogi, humanitarian and enlightened master, Sadhguru.

Inwardly Oriented Teaching Format

Unlike many modern studios, we avoid playing music, using mirrors or props, talking while demonstrating, or physically touching the participants during the class. Many students comment on the depth of their experience as a direct result of this inwardly oriented teaching format.

Taught With Great Care

Our classes are taught with great care and precision to create a conducive atmosphere for learning the subtle science of Hatha Yoga.

Offered In Utmost Purity

The practices we offer come from a deep yogic tradition which boasts a holistic understanding of the physical body as well as more subtle aspects of the human system. These practices are offered in utmost purity with an emphasis on safety and precision

Intimate Group Settings

Taught in an intimate group setting, classes are designed to gradually introduce students to yoga practices through verbal instructions and demonstrations. We also feature informative videos that provide intellectual insight into the processes taking place.
